Membership Terms

What membership includes

Membership is a monthly arrangement. What it includes is listed on the Membership page and may be added to over time. We will not remove something a member is already using without at least one month's notice.

Paying

Membership is billed monthly in advance in Canadian dollars. We invoice you and you pay by bank transfer or e-transfer.

Pausing

You can pause your membership for up to two months in any twelve, keeping your rate. Tell us before your next invoice.

Leaving

You can leave at any time. Tell us before your next invoice and the membership runs to the end of the month you have paid for. We do not charge a leaving fee and we do not refund part-months.

Member rates on lessons

The member rate on private lessons applies to lessons booked while your membership is active. If you leave, lessons already booked keep the rate you booked at.

Conduct in the Conversation Club

The club is a small group of people practising something difficult in front of each other. We ask members to be patient with other people's French. We may remove a member from a session, and in serious cases from the membership, if they are not.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, members are told by email at least one month before the change takes effect.
