Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you book a lesson, buy a package, enrol on a course or join a program with FluentPath Academy.

Booking

Booking through this website is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We reply by email, usually within one working day, with times we can offer. Your booking is confirmed when we have agreed a time in writing.

Prices and payment

All prices on this site are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include the materials described on the programme page. We do not take payment on this website. We send an invoice and you pay by bank transfer or e-transfer before the lesson or block of lessons takes place.

Prices may change. The price that applies is the one shown when we confirm your booking or issue your invoice.

Lesson packages

Packages of five or ten lessons are paid for in advance and drawn down one lesson at a time. We keep the record of how many lessons you have bought, used and have remaining, and confirm your balance whenever you ask.

Packages do not expire unless we tell you otherwise in writing when you buy. Packages are for one named learner and cannot be transferred without our agreement.

Self-paced courses

A self-paced course is licensed to you personally for your own study. You may download and keep the materials. You may not share, resell or republish them.

Attendance and lateness

Lessons start and end at the agreed time. If you are late, we teach the remainder of the session. If we are late, you get the missed time back.

What we ask of you

A working internet connection, a quiet place to speak, and reasonable notice when something changes. Recording a lesson is fine if you tell us first.

Our responsibility

We will teach with care and skill. We cannot guarantee a particular exam result, band or score: your outcome depends on your own work as well as ours. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province in which the academy operates.
