Standups in French were the thing I dreaded. We rehearsed the actual format of my team's meeting until it was boring. It is still not effortless, but it is no longer the worst part of my day.

The first teacher who adapted properly

Practical from the first lesson
We spent my second lesson rehearsing a call to a landlord, and I made that call the next day without freezing. Everything since has been the same — the French I need this week, not in two years.
Passed level C on the first attempt
I had failed the oral twice before. Rim worked out within one session that my problem was pacing, not vocabulary, and rebuilt the whole plan around timed practice. The mock exams were harder than the real one, which is exactly what I needed.
