Rescheduling a lesson

You can move a lesson free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Email us or reply to your booking confirmation and we will offer new times.

With less than 24 hours' notice, the lesson counts as taught. If you are on a package, one lesson is deducted from your balance.

We understand that illness and emergencies do not give notice. Tell us what happened — the first late cancellation in any block of lessons is not charged.

Cancelling a lesson you have not taken

A single lesson paid for but not yet taken can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before it starts.

Cancelling a package

If you have bought a package of five or ten lessons and want to stop:

• Lessons you have already taken are charged at the single-lesson rate, not the package rate.
• The balance is refunded.

For example: you buy ten lessons at $500, take three, then stop. Three lessons at the single-lesson rate of $55 is $165, so $335 is refunded.

Self-paced courses

Because a self-paced course is delivered in full as soon as you buy it, it is refundable within 14 days of purchase provided you have completed no more than the first unit. After that, no refund applies.

Intensive programs

An intensive program can be cancelled before it starts for a full refund. Once it has started, unused sessions are refunded at the single-lesson rate as above, less any materials already supplied.

Workshops and events

Cancel more than 48 hours before a workshop for a full refund. Inside 48 hours the place is not refundable, but you may send someone else in your place.

If we cancel

If we have to cancel a lesson, workshop or program, you can take a new time or have a full refund, whichever you prefer. We will always offer both.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back by the same route the payment came in, within ten working days.
